Privacy policy.
Effective October 31, 2026. This policy explains what VetForge Health and Wellness collects, why, and the choices you have. It works together with our Terms of Service.
1. What we collect
We collect the information needed to run a research-supply store: your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address when you register or order; order, cart, and payment-option details; community posts you choose to publish; affiliate application details; and technical data such as page views and device/browser information used for site analytics and security. Payment card details are never stored by VetForge — card payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout.
2. How we use it
We use your information to confirm, fulfil, and support your orders; send order, shipping, invoice, and payment emails; operate memberships and member pricing; run the multi-vendor marketplace (including sharing the order details a seller needs to ship your items); operate the affiliate program; prevent fraud and abuse; and improve the site through aggregate analytics. We may send transactional emails about your account and orders — these are part of the service and cannot be opted out of individually.
3. Who we share it with
We share order and shipping details with the independent seller fulfilling your items and with carriers as needed to deliver your order. We use service providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and object storage — they may process your data only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of VetForge, our customers, or the public.
4. Cookies and similar technology
We use strictly necessary browser storage for sign-in sessions, your age-verification choice, cart contents, and preference settings. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can clear this storage at any time in your browser, though sign-in and cart features will reset.
5. Data retention
We keep order, invoice, and account records for as long as needed to operate the business and meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations. Abandoned-cart and analytics data are retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized. You may ask us to delete your account (see Section 7); order records already placed may be retained where the law requires.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and rate limiting to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
7. Your choices and rights
You may review and update your account details, request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account by contacting us at vetforgehealth@gmail.com. Where state privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA) apply to you, you have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Research-use notice
This website is intended for qualified researchers 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the current version; material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
